.....you let her have the used spinning wheel you just bought!
I called her last night to make sure she is giving it the proper love and care that it deserves. She is :)
I just finished another update for the etsy shop. I am not sure how much I love the new colorways but I am sure hoping someone will! We use this money to help support the farm.
There are a couple of road trips in the plans. Sunday I will be traveling (hopefully with my sister) to Nan's Alpaca's and Wildlife Habitat for their shearing day. We will have our wheels in tow and will be spinning away! Then on Monday the 8th of June a group of us will be traveling to Stonehedge Mill in East Jordan, MI. Can you tell I love road trips???
Have a wonderful fiber filled weekend and if you see a Louet for sale for around $200.00 could you give me a holler? I really have a hankering for one of those! I am dying to pimp it up and add a little bling. Plus those big bobbins are calling me!
And I am not even kidding!!! I got my swap package from the Spindle Addicts Swap on Ravelry and my Phat Fiber box yesterday.
Before I stun you with the beautiful things I got I have to show off a few things :) First my latest spinning projects:I decided to try my hand at cotton and I am LOVING it!
And I spun this from some of my hand dyed silk hankies :) Whenever I dye hankies for my etsy shop I don't weigh them before hand; then after dyeing I weigh them and whatever is left over after 1 ounce I keep!
And last for the shameless self promotion, a sneak peek at my June contribution for the phatfiber box:
This colorway is called Parrot Fish. This colorway is called Blue Tang Fish. (Do you like my club thumb?)
And lastly the yarn :) Colorways are Sandy Beach and Under the Boardwalk. And now back to our regularly scheduled program......
